This and today’s announcement make me think the board are somewhat delusional. They don’t have the balance sheet to mount a takeover, despite the weakening position of HLS.
seems like the board on some ego trip. Are they just trying to mount ASX’s first ever hostile merger?
genuinely like the business and want long term portfolio exposure here, but I wish they would just read the room and get on with sticking to the day to day and wait for any further M&A when they have the strength to do so
