I think you are reading way too much into it. SYT would of been booked into this conference well in advance of any current dealings.

If you have a look at the background to this conference it has been going for a long long while (21 years) and is one of the biggest in the region. Would you prefer that that didnt go to this conference and not promote the brand, or get the word out there.

I bet if they didn't go you would be critising them for not going and sitting on their backsides and doing nothing I would expect.
