The problem is there are more writedowns to come in my opinion. Infraco is next with the rising competition in telco.
I think the issue is Telstra hasn't responded to disruptors in the field as it's been too busy looking at Telstra Health and corporate addon solutions which were never the breadwinners and never will be. They should focus on mobile and IoT provisioning. They should also pay down some of their debt and invest in some tech startups in a dual entity structure but Penn shouldn't be doing the investing. It should be done by a separate board that integrates value into the TLS entity.
