    Cheers @barnearse You don't sound like a longer or a shorter to me, but like an industry insider. Good to hear your views. Do you have any guesstimate as to what minimum percentage of comms you think MOC is looking at to staunch the bleeding? If AFG is paying 95%ish - then MOC's 66% ish is way out of the market obviously.

    On another note - there is some more blowback occuring from Caltex and 7/11 etc. Franchisors are copping it from every direction. The SDA (not that I think much of them) wants the franchisors be (more) responsible for franchisee wage fraud. The link below has their position. After Caltex's tricks, with a small business friendly Lib gov in power, I suspect this will be in the bag so that another Caltex can't occur again, IMO.

    I fear there is a risk that franchising becomes far less viable in Australia - trust has been shattered. That would be a terrible thing too.
