They've discounted false positives and they still haven’t been able to identify the source of the conductor. With remodelling they’ll be looking to test those targets with an upcoming drilling. To me it seems that they are quietly optimistic about Lantern East target (“better targets”, “prospective area”) ? Obviously if it becomes clear that it’s a false positive, they’ll simply move on.
