Non Exec Director is not involved in day to day operations like C-Level executives (Executive directors). They ensure good corporate governance, bring connections, give insights/question like a third person to keep a balance. They usually are board member of multiple companies and try to manage their portfolio. Given the growth phase of WBT it quiet possible he is not able to meet with the time required while managing his private companies and other board roles.
