I can't disagree I would like to see more bottom line growth.
I completely accept the macro story, but can see that over-full employment in the US is cyclical, and hurting FLN as potential freelancers choose traditional employment because it is on offer.
My view is the ongoing structural trend toward freelancing is being lost in the cyclical noise of a tight employment market.
This will disappear in a downturn, however gentle or pronounced, and the trend will be reasserted.

As an occasional user of cheap fiverr services to get some graphic design help etc. I like their market place of gigs. But as an occasional user of FLN for projects that are not a neat "gig" it is a different use case, and one that can scale to higher value work, which I think points to a more valuable business.
