Under this new commercial Akida IP licence agreement, BrainChip is entitled to receive a 10% royalty on the Net Sale Price of Frontgrade’s first licensed product in exchange for providing Akida 1.0 IP.
When they sell their first product with Akida 1.0 in it they pay BRN 10% of the net proceeds (sale price - sale cost)

Additionally Frontgrade has the option to purchase additional softwaremaintenance for $125,000 per year after the initial 2 year maintenance program is up (2027 onwards).

Additionally still, Frontgrade has the option to obtain an additional Akida1.0 IP licence for one more licensed product for a fee of €150,000 or a royalty of 15% of the NetSale Price of the second licensed product.

Then who knows what the arrangements will be for a third Akida 1.0 or even an Akida 2.0, and so on.

So how and when do (sic) BRN make money from this deal? Royalty and maintenance.
