Not too bad, capex a smidge over the UDS $10-15m touted as order of magnitude a while back though. 2.4 year payback contingent on an approx 80% rise in REO prices.
Genuine question if one invests 100m and the NPV at spot is less than that does it mean essentially just not returning the original investment at the end of that? Or does it mean a return of 100m plus the NPV? I'd hazard to guess the first, but need to look into the details rather than just skimming charts.
Not terrible to be close to returning capital at current spots but certainly a much bigger capex hurdle than they've been projecting. I was also thinking they'd be less sensitive to the REE pricing but looks like they're saying input costs would be more or less flat and they'd capture any upside in REE pricing. Got both pros and cons I suppose.
