The Planning survey ends 29th October, so a determination should be made shortly after that. And as both Joe and Bruton have said, the port is at capacity so unless there is a win everything else is for nought.

Bruton was clear distinguishing ‘green steel’ from inferior iron ore which is a strong positive, however the timing isn’t great. 90% of China’s top 100 developers had a September sales drop yoy of 30+%. How much will the flow on effect stymie a successful BFS?

While it’s competitors are put on hold I expect MIO to proceed promptly and take advantage of future IO surges/ environmental building mandates. There should not be any knee jerk reactions, and the current IO price is not a satisfactory excuse for failure.
