Before I start blue-skying what they might one day earn, I'd first like to know how much they are actually earning now.

But that's easier said than done.

This (yet another) god-awfullly messy EAS result - with impairments, restructuring provisions, writebacks of def cons., prior period revenue adjustment, discontinued businesses, profit on asset sales.

I spent an hour after dinner trying to figure out just how much profit they actually made in the second-half, but I was too tired so I gave up. I'll try again in the morning after I've had some sleep and my synapses have been primed with 500ml of strong coffee.
