What I initially read, and now come to understand and believe in fully, is that strong management is important and can completely override the effect of an ostensibly benign business model. I've never considered wholesaling to be a business leading opportunity and yet here we are with, arguably, three of the best, if not most consistent, stock market performers of the past several years, being SNL, DDR and GUD, all with similar business models and all with very little obvious opportunity to carve out a prosperous living except for their uncanny awareness of the importance of distribution.
