BEL's price will be heavily influenced by the performance of SRK as at the report date of 30 June ~90% of BELs assets were SRK stocks ($14.2 mil). At that time the SRK price was $0.265. The price now is $0.17 equating to a value reduction of ~5.0 mil on BEL's books. BEL's earnings mainly came from the appreciation in SRKs price from $0.045 to $0.265 over the financial year.
YTD they would be running at a large loss due the lower market price of SRK however NTA of BEL is still around $0.15 per share vs a current price of $0.08 per share so yes good value looking at this. We really need SRK to perform as there are still salaries and ongoing expenses to be paid and this is the only real value on our books.
