re: Ann: Full Year Results Announcement and I... like most of you, i expected a lot better & just about sold out in disgust, however after a few deep breaths have decided to do nothing short term. i thank those of you who have provided some balance in your posts.
just a few things:
definately a knee jerk reaction to the full yr ann
the 1 for 10 will reduce costs
forget about divis, still 2 - 3 yr away
sub 10 cents vpg is a sitting duck for takeover but the business is so disparate who would want it? unless of course you broke it up to realise the sum of its parts
do you think managegmet is concerned with the low sp,
not one bit i bet. it more than likely suits them
could we see kimco & vpg forming a deeper alliance to help relieve us of our near worthless shares? nothing would surprise me any more
"The alliance is expected to focus on the marketing and introduction of funds management products to major pension funds and other institutional investors, Kimco said."
continued instability in europe short term will likely see further mandates/FUM thus positioning vpg well for a time when broader growth returns to the eu zone
orbis's time frame is 3 - 5 yr & i would love to see them use a big stick on managemet
lets see what the agm brings
good luck to all holders & traders
