I like what you're saying. It fits the premise (in my opinion) that a 'super aggregator' has a place competing with the global gorillas because it holds a niche geography with a deeper understanding of its customers. As content supply keeps ramping up and choice becomes bewildering, the ability to 'gatekeep' that content for you customers AND to know how much to pay for it, will become increasingly important (IMO).
Curation matters.
On the Australian coverage: I think it's covered on two free to air channels (both part of the Seven Group), also on the associated 'on demand channel'. I don't think it is broadcast or streamed elsewhere - others may wish to advise. The commentary on the opening ceremony seemed a bit amateurish at times, TBH. I haven't watched a great deal, apart from Australia vs Spain the soccer.
