The QUB result probably demonstrates how wise it was with the previous excellent CEO retiring that QUB chose a competent internal candidate in Paul Digney with c.20 years' experience in the business.
He should be happy with the results.
No doubt the MUA/CFMMEU will attack QUB at a future date but without companies like it prepared to suffer the shocking industrial disputation that can occur at ports, the future of Oz would be under more of a cloud. That said, productivity needs to further improve as on a world scale, the performance of the ports in Sydney and Melbourne in particular is low in productivity, as media recently featured. Fremantle may also be poor.
