an old boss of mine once told me that charts are used by those with no conviction. he was one of the best market guys I've seen.
in saying that... while I took that advice on board, I do use charts to back a sentiment... but never to 'make' a sentiment so i try to ignore all those chats titled "charts".
And yet for some reason on chats that are interesting to me, with no reference to anything about technicals, someone somehow takes it as an invitation to throw up a chart... that, when expanded, actually bears a 1 year inverse correlation...
is it "fear of missing out"? or a self induced need to seem important?
anyway. will be an intersting conference call
