Sorry mate, I don't have any recommended reading on hand to offer, but I am sure there is plenty out there on the affects of index inclusion/removal on both the short and long term share price.
In my opinion, well researched businesses such as GMG will only have short term pricing effects due to index changes, as there is plentiful supply of money globally which will find it's way to arbitrage any valuation discrepancies which may occur due to such changes.
