SRV was burnt really badly in 2017/18 in the US, especially New York. The HYC problem was that at its building near Ground Zero the security to get into the building was so severe that it turned clients away. SRV was stuck with a very expensive lease that they had no hope of subletting. So I reckon Alf will be very cautious about investing in the US in the short term.
Alf will expand. He is a canny operator who knows how to take advantage of a crisis. Which countries he invests in will be revealed over time.
I am backing the man as much as backing the recovery in a post Covid-19 world.
A nice little lift on opening this morning and Buy/Sell volume is running at 2:1 , nice to see.
