Given the weather remains benign (from Hunter Valley thermal coal mines' perspective - graingrowers in northwest NSW may have a different view), lower rainfall likely in FY 24 should assist coal volumes (c.50 million tonnes annually for AZJ) transported by rail to the Port of Newcastle NSW.
