We have legitimate concerns, I have demonstrated the impact mathematically, and you and others can choose to ignore them, but if you let things like this happen unchecked, and you don't keep management accountable, then it will happen more and more, and you will get a smaller piece of the pie than you deserve.

Some people have and care about principles, others don't I suppose.
