If you have the opportunity with the interview, selection process as a site supervisor , that will be the starting point to employ the right candidate. When they get to site teamed up with the right training people and team members.Can take 3 to 6 months to get up to speed, depending on the person and roster. can do attitude is a big plus, for someone new there never a stupid question asked by them.Been through this scenario myself on many occasions. Everyone has started in the fields of employment from scratch and deserve a go. There is also a get out clause in terms of employment for both party's if things don't work out. There is only small pool of experienced loyal workers out there.which has been well published, even raised by CE at our AGM.
MIN are not a fly by night Co, investing in the future with there recruitment and trainees IMO.I always have the glass half full with this mob, regardless.
