Because of this comment in your post:

'How do you explain a company like Kidman Resources that claims a plot of land as their biggest lithium resource.... getting more credibility than Orocobre which is supposed to be a producing lithium miner?'

As I pointed out this situations is not uncommon in the stock market at various stages of a resource company's development stage .So a meaningful comparison of the SP between these two companies, at these two very different stages of their development, can not really be made.
