The US acquisitions dont seem to be performing well. Would be back to the low 4's or high 3's in not for the take over talk. If Bain are still interested then a done deal, board wont be able block. I reckon Bain are thinking bigger than short term results and wish to use BWX to aggregate a number of brands with efficiency of distribution and cross promotion as well as reducing product specific risk. In private hands BWX could end up a multibillion MC and then relisting. Not selling for now.
