As so much of our manufacturing has been sent overseas in the pursuit of globalisation and free trade, it doesn't matter if an Australian is here or overseas.....any money given by the Australian Government to its citizens (in hand outs, benefits or tax cuts) will always partitally assist an overseas economy.
We are also assisted, if that overseas country needs our dirt to make stuff.
