I have asked the question in the past and, I have been advised that the resource (gold) is well deep in the ground and doing a BFR is very difficult and highly costly. Then I asked, so what happens next? The answer was "waiting for a strategic partner(s) who'd understand or can appreciate our/CTO's situation" to undertake funding. I guess, what this means is that: CTO will advise/inform those interested parties about the mine and its "viability" and any interested party willing to go further will need to carry out its own due diligence at their own cost. But who would be willing to do that? So far - no one....
