how you can consult - and get paid - on top of a salary is beyond me !!
Surely if you pull a full time wage that should exclude you from moonlighting - and in particular back to your own company!
How did they agree on the day rate ? Did they try to source other (maybe more qualified or cheaper) alternatives?
Talk about insider dealings !! Disgraceful - IMO.
