But this simply restates what we were already expecting to be fulfilled by the end of Feb. And it is left very open ended.

It would be helpful if AP actually provided information that followed up on from all the earlier announcements without making us all guess and triangulate what is going on. As far as I am concerned communications with holders at this crucial moment is a huge fail, and the company is letting us down badly. We should not need to wait for ongoing, unannounced, info gleaned from e.g. Newing's chargeable reports. That is just wrong.

The announced demotimetable was for end of Feb. That is not based on guessing on holders part but was very clearly announced.

That timeline would have necessitated metallisation, singulation, and packaging being carried out somewhere. That would have led to rigorous testing fo the finished chips to create performance specs and dry runs of demos. Presumably none of these things were afterthoughts, but would have been negotiated and planned for in detail - in advance. Any delays would have affected multiple planned events and players, and those players that were affected would have been told as soon as delays were inevitable.

But holders - co-owners of the company - should also have been told something.

COVID is a given, but it was already a given when the announcement in Dec was made.

We should have been told at that time that what was then happening was going to lead to a delay in the announced demo schedules. That in itself should have occasioned an announcement that what was being done could not be completed and that would lead to delays in the announced demo, not just by no comment in the Feb announcement about the planned Feb demos. That is a fail. And pretty unforgivable one too. The least we could have expected in my opinion was an expected extension to the timeline, and some explanation for it. This is not to say that things are not allowed to be changed by circumstances, but just no follow up to widespread company generated expectations is pretty unpalatable.

As it stands currently we do not know where the production is at, and we should have been told that at least.
It should not keep being glossed over.
Have the wafers been metallised yet?
Have they been singulated yet?
Have they been packaged yet?
Are chips in the company's hands yet?
Are there definite demo plans?
If not, when will they be done?

Of course I am hopeful that the company will suddenly drop a delightful announcement on us that will bring us all up to date and allow us to celebrate some level of achievement. But the way the communications is not being done leaves me drumming my fingers anxiously. I feel let down. And I am sure I am not alone in that.

Good summary @BobF one would expect an announcement is imminent.

Suspect it won't be long either way - good, bad, ugly or indifferent.

Until then I will treat it as a winter beer.
