I agree that it's abhorrent these activities continue to go on without consequence but I still have no sympathy for retail caught in the cross fire. This has been going on since the dawn of stock trading yet it works without fault every time. It's retails fault for never expending a second or two to try and better themselves through a bit of self education. Maybe teaching these techniques in schools would be of greater benefit then even having ASIC as a regulatory body, as the only useful thing school ever taught me was a few simple math calcs and some basic writing skills.
