Settling litigation succeeds when both sides have an interest in seeing the agreement succeed. One might not get $300,000,000 but one may get tax relief and incentives that approximate that. One may get the mine back and extra leases of longer length as compensation for the 6 years lost. Lets see what the cat drags in.
