Companies making less than $20 million can claim 43.5% of eligible expenditures to qualify for a tax rebate. $547,688 is not that far from being the rebate on the $1.28 million in unpaid cash calls. NME is disputing these cash calls in Supreme Court yet seem quite happy to collect the rebate. I may be wrong and NME may have other expenditure they are claiming. If NME win the court case will they repay the $547,688 to ATO if this is what they are claiming? I am hoping an NME shareholder can enlighten us on this issue.
