Ok, so it looks like the only near term method of putting the kebosh on the consortium bid is to vote out the directors. This raises the question of who will remain in control of whatever is left of the company.
Something that is troubling me is whether the entire deal is subject to shareholder approval or just the 200million recapitlisation. If the 70million share deal to the consortium takes place prior to any shareholder voting... well we no longer have any control over the whole thing. Is it possible for the company to do this (halve our holding and flog off the whole thing for $70,000) without shareholder approval ?
