Riv, what I’ve noticed with CDM these days is a preparedness to cut their losses sooner than later. The US stocks that they let go in the US, we’re the losers in large chunks. They were extremely volatile and moved in relatively large %s. Ive noticed (my opinion only) that CDM are more following their trading policy outlined for CDO, and CDM portfolio managers appears to be taking a More “nimble” approach and are reacting (their 3% rule) more quickly than they would have previously. Perhaps it’s a comment on the extremely “flaky” market ATM where slightly bad news can see an otherwise good quality stock with gr8 potential such as CCX, sold down by 8% because they dared to anticipate supply chain problems and decided to “stock up”. And thats even though their performance forecasts a robust sales and profit expansion. Yes, re WIC, it’s just going to be another investment decision to make at the time. Will be interesting to see what price the share gets to and how that equates to the WAM offer ? i will have to update my CDM watchlist !
