Hi Goodtimming.
I have had quite a few companies ring me to encourage or remind me of offers to share holders. I believe if they have staff with the time to call, it promotes a more personal touch. This is not uncommon, especially with smaller companies.
I personally only have a tiny holding in AEV so I have used this opportunity to apply for additional shares to make the transaction worth doing before this company has a growth spurt ( I hope).
Multibaggers are not layed out for us without risk and sacrifice.
I have jumped on this small market cap company along with a few others, looking for hidden gems. Time will tell.
