It’s right there in the announcement —> this CR is aimed at de-risking Covid-19-related risks. Nobody knows what the world economy will be like over the next two years due to this pandemic. And yes we could still be grappling with this pandemic for two more years!
This is a good move to remove risk to the critical and expensive expansion projects. As so many people repeatedly say on this board - the sooner Lynas has a processing plant outside of Malaysia, the better. Remember Malaysia?
