In the end, I chose to grab my full entitlement.
With the commentary you are providing from parliament, it seems there is a very obvious and well supported push to expedite the process.
I'm trying to think what the shortfall may be, but I'm feeling that with this more deliberate discussion around the legislation, we'll see more support for the rights issue from existing shareholders. And if not (as @joejar said) wherever that shortfall goes will say a lot.
