    Net inflows $5.4b which is impressive but FUM flows are a lag indicator.

    While net inflows were $5.4b the shift in GQGs FUM balance (from $94.5b to $98.6b) was only $4.1b …..ie negative returns for the month - that’s why the market isn’t impressed.

    Interestingly ASX basket case MFG was the opposite :

    Net outflows $2.4b

    Shift in FUM balance $43.2b only down to $42.7b

    ie positive returns on the month

    That explains the relative performance of their respective share prices today (MFG sp up strongly since it’s FUM update last week despite more net outflows)
