Maybe, or maybe the market just isn't efficient. They said explicitly in the March FUM update that flows in the first quarter were unsustainably strong and investors shouldn't extrapolate them out over the rest of the year. As you said it's a lag indicator so as long as they keep delivering the performance, flows will follow and eventually the SP will react as well.
