I invest a small amount in the stocks I’m interested in and only add if they perform well. To be vigilant and always aware about the million variables we don’t know about, all the information we might have missed, all the knowledge we lack… is probably worth more than all the research, Elliot waves and charts in the world.
the smartest thing you can do and the wisest if you want to make any money in the market is to know that you don’t know the outcome, take a punt and let time pass (3 years or so at least) until you ultimately admit defeat or win (both equally likely). I have only a small holding in GQG but I really (really!) believe in them. Only time will tell if we’re right or wrong
