An interesting feature of todays trading is the appearance of a few single share transactions, the usual hallmark of Algo trading. The tiny volumes XAM trades ($150k today for example) doesn't usually interest the algo boys, so it piqued my interest that they've put in an appearance. Of course it doesn't actually tell us anything. It could be pip trading, or it could be a larger party entering or exiting a position... but I'm pretty sceptical about coincidences!
