I think the Corps law defines related parties as Directors ......or Spouses, Parents and Children of Directors ........but there is also an element in Listed Companies of the spirit of the law ......and if someone (a shareholder) like yourself sees the announcement and raises the question " Anthony Cairns???" like you have done, then in my mind they are perhaps "bumping up against" the spirit of the law .......as an example if Anthony is Chris's Brother or Cousin .....does it raise concerns or questions ......I think it does. In positions of Trust (including Directors of listed companies) you need to not only be doing the right thing but also be seen to be doing the right thing.
