Saudi Arabia are building the worlds largest skyscraper at 2km tall, a 1km tall tower, the Masar district which will be home to thousands of hotels, retail, apartments, recreation, plus many many more including Neom which i personally don't see being fully realized but even in stages its one of the largest projects ever constructed.. so you reckon they should just import all that steel? plus as hoskoo says KSA are trying to realize a 2030 green target, they will struggle given 50% of the countries water comes from desalination but green projects are at the forefront of the KSA vision, if they import the DRI and use a green process to turn ore into steel then it adds to their bottom line green credit

regardless of this, the announcement says midmetal have received certifcation for 200m USD in funding from the saudi government, so the saudi's want this and are paying for it, yet with that and your questions being answered you still go for "off my list" response and make a comment about SP being down (its above my average btw), sure thing pal, you're clearly coming here with an open mind
