Hi tinstuff11,
the nature of this new material intrigues me, I had a look over recent announcements to try to join some dots.
Firstly Valence described the new zone as "mineralised pegmatite", Wikipedia in part says "The single feature that is diagnostic to all pegmatites is their large size crystal components". Does this mean that the new zone in not only high grade, but also large flaked?
Valance say of the new zone, "the potential existence of a unique flake graphite mineralisation of considerable grade". This seem to me to be describing something pretty special.
When Valance says "a potentially significant shift in Valence Industries’ knowledge of this critical feed for its graphite processing and manufacturing programs". I don't think they talking about a small increase in the average ROM grade, I think they are hinting a shift in their flake size distribution.
All IMO, happy to hear others thoughts on this subject.
