Some other reasons that might have contributed to the delay in the Mercuria $40m gold swap might have to do with WMX's existing concentrate delivery contracts with Trafigura & Poylmetal. Perhaps they've had to re-negotiate delivery quantities with those entities to allow a bit more room for any future gold hedge commitments with Mercuria. Who knows?
