Rob,
Big Difference with the latest reports.
this one said we are not extending the agreement. My understanding is that we now can now accelerate other offers on the table whereas previously we had to sit with our hands tied with molten. A finalised PPA anyday will give pax the boost its needed. Finance will be knocking on the door once they can confidently detail the cost of generation against the rate of return for the power. Right now noone knows for sure just what price pln will sign for and as the price we are asking for 12.5-15c pkwh is above the current ceiling price(10c pkwh), we should be one of the last to sign in this current upcoming wave because of the higher price.
Its simple - no PPA = No funding due to nobody willing to purchase the power.
ps rob - your entitled to your oppinion on my posts. thats why its called a forum.
