To me it effectively says that mgt did not could not or were incapable of seeing low coal prices for the forseeable future and did nothing to change the finance proposal viz contract mining.
The suggestion it seems was at the instigation of financiers.
It simply is not good enough...7 years!!!
If this is 'management talent' in Australia- I welcome the takeover of Australia by China that is currently in progress.
It will instil some much needed discipline.
