Kalongwe mining permit resource has 45,ooo tons of cobalt already. Grade of cobalt in ore body is 0.5%, at this grade cobalt production operation could be profitable without its high grade copper ore.
Strong possibility that JV tenements in same area with Ivanhoe will turn up more interesting deposits.
I believe world cobalt supply is already not meeting demand and that this material critical to battery production will be more scarce that lithium.
BPL has had a strong rise. Talk suggests its cobalt resource of 36 million tons of only 1.85lbs/ton ie 0.084% is attracting punters interest.
RER looks very interesting.
