Nah cant see it as self serving.... IMO...its real skin in the game... Would of luved to see half a rock flow in the bank. But the good Doc knows what he is doing.
If it was self serving he would of taken up stock at a discount and then made a real killing as the price spikes...He is thinking about the existing stockholders...Well done Doc and 5%pa of 200K for 2yrs is 50k interest. You can make more in a smart property development, so why would he stump up the money... The reason is there is simple,there is real potential here and ppl might not be able to see it yet... For me its a real vote of confidence, Bring on 2019!
