In answer to an earlier question about the competition with solar, I was meaning in terms of the purchasers point of view in being green. Spending $8k on 5Kw of solar panels or $40k on a bluegen, has proven to be pretty much a no brainer for the consumers, they went with the solar. While all the points about Bluegen making power after dark etc are true, they have not persuaded the consumer to open their wallets. Even today, people are making the same arguments about the use of the technology and what a wonderful invention it is. In the end it all counts for nought, if the company stuff up with the price and marketing, which is exactly what has happened.
