I mean, sure it'll survive, but I don't think surviving death is enough. Can you also survive the zombies? Can you afford to have dead-weight in your portfolio?
Look to examples like Platinum - this company has survived, sure. It even paid dividends. Great! But over the last 10 years, the capital losses investors experienced offset most if not all of the dividends.
It's like watching a boat gone adrift - it isn't sinking, but it's lost forever. That's Magellan right now.
